Squiggle Handles: Custom Wooden Cabinet Pulls by Vivi Lamarre for a Bold, Playful Touch

TRANFORMING YOUR SPACE WITH SQUIGGLE DOOR HANDLES AND DRAWER PULLS

The new studio is is coming together piece by piece, and one of the latest additions was a stunning custom-made storage unit from my talented friends at Blitz Design. While the cabinet is already beautiful on its own, I wanted to infuse it with my own artistic touch. So, I designed a set of oversized wooden door handles and drawer pulls, adding a personal, handcrafted feel that would elevate the overall aesthetic of the space.

A MODERN TWIST ON FUNCTIONAL DESIGN : SQUIGGLE HANDLES ARE REDEFINING CABINET HARDWARE

Halfway between brutalism monolithic boldness and postmodern playfulness funk, these squiggle handles are my personal take of the wavy shapes that have recently made a significant comeback.

The response to this design has been overwhelmingly positive, with many people expressing interest in these unique handles. As a result, I’ve decided to add them to my portfolio and offer them for order, making them available to both designers and private individuals who want to add a distinctive touch to their spaces.

Crafted from solid walnut wood, these squiggle handles are finished with a high-quality oil-varnish sealer to ensure durability and a smooth, polished look. On one side, a carefully engraved wave pattern not only adds visual interest but also provides an ergonomic grip for ease of use. Designed for simplicity, these handles are easy to install with a pair of M4 machine screws, making them a practical yet stylish addition to any cabinet or drawer.
